Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Temporary Accounting/Stripe Specialist to help us improve how we track and manage recurring license transactions in Stripe. The role is focused on cleaning up existing accounts, updating subscription records, and implementing better processes for capturing recurring revenue.

Triton Sensors builds smart safety sensors for schools, hospitals, and other organizations worldwide. We're a fast-growing company and need extra help ensuring our accounting and billing processes are streamlined as we scale.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review existing customer subscriptions in Stripe and ensure accuracy of recurring billing details.
  • Update and reconcile license renewals and recurring transactions.
  • Standardize and clean up data entry processes within Stripe.
  • Work with our team to create better workflows for capturing license revenue.
  • Provide recommendations for improving reporting and financial visibility of recurring revenue.
  • Document processes so our internal team can maintain going forward.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience with Stripe (subscriptions, invoicing, and reconciliation).
  • Background in accounting, finance, or bookkeeping preferred.
  • Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Experience with SaaS recurring revenue models is a plus.

Job Details

  • Duration: 2–3 months (project-based)
  • Hours: Flexible, ~15–25 hours per week
  • Pay: Hourly, commensurate with experience ($20–35/hr range)
  • Location: Remote (must be able to work U.S. hours occasionally for team check-ins)
