Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated Assistant Project Engineer to support the planning, coordination, and execution of commercial construction projects, with a focus on drywall and framing work. This is an ideal opportunity for someone with role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Project Manager in coordinating day-to-day construction activities on drywall and framing scopes.
  • Review and interpret construction documents, drawings, and specifications.
  • Help prepare project schedules, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and other documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with subcontractors, suppliers, and field teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Monitor progress on-site to verify that work aligns with project plans and timelines.
  • Assist in budget tracking, cost estimation, and project billing processes.
  • Ensure quality control and safety standards are followed throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Attend project meetings and document key discussions, decisions, and action items.

Qualifications:

  • 2–3 years of experience in commercial construction, particularly with drywall and framing.
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering, or related field experience preferred.
  • Basic knowledge of project management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, Onscreen Takeoff, Quick Bid, Buzzbid).
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
