Responsibilities:

At MID ATLANTIC MEDICINE /CEDAR HILL URGENT CARE - WDC

Offer services for a wide range of illnesses including seasonal allergies and asthma, urinary tract infections, bronchitis, falls, minor cuts, colds, and flus.

Under the direction of the Medical Director:

• Performs routine radiographs and minimally invasive procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision and ingenuity to apply prescribed ionizing radiation for radiological diagnosis.
• Must be willing to cross train and float to meet the needs of the facility to include phlebotomy services and cross coverage of the medical assistant.
• Demonstrates customer service and patient care excellence at all times.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Mixture of 6, 8 & 12 hour shifts with alternating weekends and holidays if applicable
• Follows all urgent care policies and procedures

Qualifications:

Education

• High School diploma or equivalency
• Completion of AMA-sponsored School of Radiolgic Technology
• Registry of ARRT

Skills

• Fundamental Computer Skills and keyboard familiarity
• Able to speak and write english Fluently
• Demonstarted communication, organization and critical thinking skills
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
