Who You Are
A team focused engineer with experience building large scale systems. You have extensive experience with spine and leaf networks, automation, and design experience.

What You'll Do

• Designing and maintaining a highly available EVPN-VXLAN spine and leaf network.
• Implementing a micro-segmented network security posture.
• Design and implement a monitoring system that will include a dark fiber network.
• Design and implement an Infrastructure as Code methodology around networking components.
• Design and maintain perimeter networking devices in a highly secure posture.
• Mentor junior network engineers.

What We're Looking For

• Experience managing Juniper network devices.
• Experience with Juniper Apstra and Mist.
• Extensive experience with BGP.
• Experience with Terraform for network provisioning.
• Experience with Palo-Alto firewalls.
• Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems (e.g., RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu).
• Understanding of security best practices, including access controls, encryption, and vulnerability management.
• Familiarity with cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Containerd).
• Strong scripting skills in languages like Python, Bash, or Perl.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Experience with version control systems (Git, SVN).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Bonus Points

• Familiarity with agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
