Director of Catering Sales, experience required,

Participates in the development of business strategies of catering operations which are aligned with the overall objectives of the hotel

¨       Develops and implements business strategies for catering sales

¨       Monitors goal's status regularly and adjusts strategies as appropriate

¨       Develops and implements strategies for catering, kitchen and  banquet operations which supports the achievement of hotel's goals

¨       Weekly review of 10 Day Packet

¨       Daily BEO meetings overseeing BEO's, Change Log, Reader Board, Revisions, New Sheets & Pop-ups

¨       Wedding Pre-Cons, Post Cons, Food Tastings

Achieves catering revenue goals by developing and implementing strategies for selling available space.

¨       Develops wedding and social catering sales presentation and collateral materials

¨       Coordinates with vendors

¨       Bi-annual competitive study for weddings and social markets

¨       Pursues all wedding leads, lists, email and phone inquiries

¨       Monitors sales productivity and provides the catering sales staff with ongoing education and training

¨       Weekly updated sales reports and activity

¨       Actively aggressively sells catering services to present and future clients

¨       Negotiates contracts

Achieves customer service goals for catered functions

¨       Creates 100% Guest Satisfaction by developing and implementing integrated strategies for each function

¨       Coordinates upcoming events with others in the hotel as appropriate

¨       Suggests alternative services which will enhance the guest's experience at the event

¨       Ensures that hotel has the audio visual support necessary to support the guest's needs by purchasing and/or renting equipment

· Seeks opportunities to improve the customer experience by seeking customer feedback and reviewing management reports and developing strategies to improve department and hotel services
