Position Summary

The C#.NET Developer will design, develop, test, and maintain scalable software solutions within the Microsoft ecosystem. The ideal candidate will have experience in financial or wealth management applications, a solid understanding of business logic for investment and client reporting systems, and the ability to collaborate across teams to deliver secure, high-performance solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain applications using C#, .NET Core/Framework, and related Microsoft technologies.
  • Work with business analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications and software solutions.
  • Integrate applications with data sources such as SQL Server, REST APIs, and third-party financial data providers.
  • Implement secure coding practices and support compliance with industry regulations (e.g., FINRA, SEC).
  • Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment processes.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers, QA engineers, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality releases.
  • Maintain and enhance existing applications used by advisors, portfolio managers, and clients.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
  • 10+ years of professional experience in software development using C# and .NET (Core or Framework).
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented design, SOLID principles, and design patterns.
  • Experience with ASP.NET MVC / Web API, Entity Framework, and SQL Server.
  • Proficiency in writing optimized SQL queries and working with relational databases.
  • Experience with version control systems such as Git.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Preferred:

  • Experience in financial services, investment management, or wealth management.
  • Familiarity with Azure, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker/Kubernetes).
  • Knowledge of data visualization, reporting tools, or BI platforms.
  • Exposure to React, Angular, or Blazor front-end frameworks.
  • Understanding of security best practices and compliance frameworks in financial applications.
