Title: Lifelong Wellness Director

Reports To: Executive Director

Exempt

Position Description:

This position is responsible for the overall management and administration of our health, education, creative and travel program, called THE CENTER at CSSC.

Position Duties:

Develops, implements, and coordinates all wellness, creative, educational and travel events

Conducts all contract negotiations with program instructors with the approval of the Executive Director

Compiles a quarterly activity and class catalog, with the approval of the Executive Director for distribution both in hardcopy and in electronic format for CENTER members

Confidently lead a large group in a classroom setting as well as on a trip related field

Ability (or willingness to learn) how to drive a 14-passenger bus (no special license is required)

All other duties as assigned by The Executive Director

Necessary Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Bachelor's Degree in recreational activities or equivalent two (2) years' experience in a related field

Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills

Excellent writing skills and grant writing is a plus

Understanding of seniors

Some evening and/or weekends may be required
