Business Development Intern

As the Business Development Intern, you will be responsible for recruiting, training, and managing a team of movers to achieve project goals within specified constraints. This is an exciting opportunity to make a substantial impact in your community through effective leadership and operational management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment & Training: Identify, recruit, and train new movers to ensure a skilled and reliable team. Develop and implement training programs to enhance team performance.
- Operational Management: Oversee daily operations, ensuring all moves are executed efficiently and to the highest standard. Be available to step in as lead mover during last-minute cancellations or bookings.
- Community Engagement: Cultivate relationships and build partnerships with local businesses, organizations, colleges, and non-profits to support and expand UniMovers' presence.
- Team Leadership: Act as a mentor and leader for the moving team, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Quality Assurance: Maintain high standards of service quality and customer satisfaction by monitoring and evaluating performance.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven managerial experience with a strong ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Genuine desire to make a positive impact in the community.
- Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Experience working collaboratively within a team setting.
- Strong work ethic and ability to work independently without constant supervision.

Benefits:
- Competitive pay of $17 per hour plus tips for moving jobs (Our data shows that tips increase the hourly rate by $7.78-$11.28).
