Responsibilities:
As a senior member of the Interoperability Operations Team, you will be responsible for implementing, testing, and troubleshooting interfaces for surgery center clients and their business partners. Interfaces are critical to client success with the HST platform and are implemented alongside a core HST product or post-implementation of our core products. You will also work closely with internal teams, client IT teams, and vendors to obtain configuration information and troubleshoot issues with live interfaces. You will lead efforts to streamline interface implementations, identify areas of improvement, and develop clear documentation with attention to detail. You may also support QA efforts for interface products in conjunction with the product and development teams.

  • Design and implement complex interfaces that integrate with multiple systems and applications, with an emphasis on Rhapsody-based integrations.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide technical solutions, including supporting leadership in engaging with customers and third party partners / vendors to build new interfaces that streamline real-world operational workflows.
  • Lead efforts to document and improve the processes of interface implementations.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize workloads to meet deadlines.
  • Conduct system and integration testing to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Provide technical support for clients and internal teams as needed.
  • Serve as a product ambassador for the HST Interoperability Operations Team.
Qualifications:

Key Technical Knowledge and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer systems, computer science, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in interface/integration implementation and support, with at least 2 years of experience in healthcare IT.
  • Experience working directly with the Rhapsody interface engine to build and deliver interfaces in production is required.
  • Experience building interfaces and/or working with various Epic modules considered a strong asset.
  • Expertise in interface/integration technology concepts (e.g. HL7, APIs, databases, client-server, querying software and communications protocols).
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with Mirth and/or other healthcare data engines.
