Narrative seeks an
Insights Manager
to join our dynamic team of communications, research, and public affairs professionals. The ideal candidate will help design and lead high-impact research and polling projects – spanning quantitative, qualitative, and emerging methodologies – to deliver insights that shape strategy, messaging, and reputation outcomes for clients. This position blends analytical rigor with storytelling, translating data into persuasive narratives, clear recommendations, and creative content that inform campaigns and thought leadership. The Insights Manager partners closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure research quality and strategic relevance. Strong managers thrive in this fast-paced, client-facing environment – supporting senior leaders, mentoring junior teammates, and modeling the collaboration and intellectual curiosity that define Narrative's culture.
About the Role
- Design and manage research and polling projects using quantitative, qualitative, and emerging methodologies to provide actionable insights
- Analyze and synthesize polling and research data to inform strategy, campaign development, and performance measurement for public affairs and PR initiatives
- Partner with internal teams and external partners to identify appropriate research methodologies and ensure study quality and data reliability
- Prepare and present research findings through memos, presentations, and visuals for internal and external stakeholders
- Innovate and improve polling and research practices, such as Generative AI
- Support the broader work measuring campaign effectiveness and success measurement
- Effectively represent the team in internal and external meetings and communicate research methodologies and findings
About the Ideal Candidate
- 3-7 years in polling, market research, or related field
- Expertise in polling methodologies and survey design
- Strong analytical skills to interpret data and provide actionable insights
- Ability to communicate complex findings to diverse, non-technical audiences
- Collaborative approach incorporating diverse stakeholder perspectives
- Proven ability to design and manage both quantitative and qualitative studies
- Knowledge of public affairs, PR, issue advocacy, reputation, and campaigns
- Strong project management skills, including prioritization and delegation
