About Us

Domify is an early stage NYC-based starting bringing AI to legal, compliance and regulatory oversight in financial services. Ours is a small but mighty engineering team, looking for a back end / data engineer with AI engineering skills to join us and make a significant impact on our trajectory.

Location: NYC in-office

We expect the successful candidate to work from Domify's mid-town office NYC 4 days a week. Telecommuting, short NYC stays or relocation are not in consideration at this time.

Salary

$150*180k + plus substantial equity, based on experience.

What you will do (required skills):

  • Design AI systems to solve complex workflows:
    design new-to-industry AI powered workflows to conduct complex enterprise workflows
  • Create orchestrations
    of AI agents, identify best in class LLM models for the job, and design agentic AI frameworks that respect our clients' data privacy and security needs
  • Rapid Innovation:
    work on a weekly release cadence, run time-boxed experiments to try novel approaches to solving business problems not touched by Machine Learning or Automation
  • Resarch
    : keeping abreast of latest developments in LLM fine-tuning, orchestration and testing

Desired Skills and Qualifications

  • 5+ years of total experience
  • 2+ years with LLMs, AI Agents as an application developer
  • Previous startup experience is required
  • Experience with production releases is required
  • Learner's mindset, willing to try new approaches and fail fast
  • Prior experience fine tuning LLMs, building RAGs, LLM orchestration, agentic workflows, addressing resourcing and performance issues, reasoning and observability
  • Prior experience working with tools and frameworks like vector dbs, Langchain and Langraph
  • Prior experience writing production grade code

Good to haves:

  • Track record of working in enterprise FinTech, preferably in an AI / ML role
  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (BSc/MSc)
  • Hands-on experience with new product creation, ideally within startups.
  • Domain expertise in financial services, wealth and investment management
