Overview

Baldi Management Group (BMG) is currently looking for experienced cooks to staff our Colada Shop located in Ronald Reagan National Airport. The ideal candidate will have experience in preparation and cooking food items according to recipes and adhering to food safety standards.

NOW HIRING: Full-time and Part-time

HOURLY PAY: $ $21.00

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE A LINE COOK:

  • One year or more of prior experience in the food service industry
  • Ability to learn quickly and execute in a fast-paced setting
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Excellent Time Management skills
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure
  • Open availability (Holidays/mornings/nights and weekends a must)
  • Basic Math competency
  • Able to pass a 10-year Federal Criminal History Background Check
  • Proven cooking experience in a full-service restaurant environment
  • Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks
  • Excellent kitchen administration knowledge and ability to work as part of a team

WHAT OUR LEAD COOKS DO, but are not limited to:

  • Cook menu items according to established franchise and company standards
  • Ensure that food is prepared timely and comes out simultaneously with other items included in orders
  • Work with servers to ensure that orders are completed according to request and on time
  • Ensure that the kitchen operation procedures and hygiene meet food safety standards and regulations
  • Assist with stocking and setting up the kitchen stations
  • Wash and clean the kitchen and cook utensils and store the equipment at the end of shifts
  • Observes proper food preparation and handling techniques.
  • Comply with sanitation and cleanliness regulations and food safety standards
  • Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers.
