The Role
Senior Managers in our Private Client Services (PCS) practice work collaboratively with engagement teams for a wide range of sophisticated clients, which may include some of the Wealthiest Families in the US, Family Offices, Owner Operated Business Entities, Alternative Investment Fund Principals, Trusts and Estates.
Senior Managers Can Expect To
- Manage client engagements with the support and collaboration of other Andersen professional and outside advisors to deliver excellent client service and meet deadlines.
- Assist in providing comprehensive tax planning for a variety of clients.
- Serve as one of two key contacts for the relevant clients.
- Conduct primary and secondary review of complex tax returns - including federal and state filings.
- Perform research and draft technical tax memoranda.
- Supervise, train, mentor, and evaluate Interns, Associates and Senior Associates.
- Participate in local office and firm-wide initiatives.
- Receive formal PCS and on-the-job training in daily interactions with top tax leaders to learn more about legislative changes, wealth transfer techniques, charitable giving strategies, buy/sell agreement planning, etc.
- Engage in business development activities (i.e. prepare proposals, present in webinars, collaborate with other service lines to present a comprehensive tax strategy to prospective and current clients, etc.).
The Requirements
- 6+ years relevant work experience in an accounting firm, with at least 5 years of Private Client experience.
- Bachelor's and/or Master's degree - Accounting, Finance, Economics or related degree (Preferred).
- Advanced credential allowing for client representation before the Internal Revenue Service required (i.e. CPA, JD, or EA).
- Project management experience showing organization skills and ability to multi-task successfully.
- Broad technical knowledge of Private Client related tax issues.
- Strong critical thinking skills and problem-solving ability.
- Strong research, writing, and verbal communication skills.
- Proven high integrity and care to do the right thing.
- Self-starter with the initiative to seek out opportunities and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient use of technology.

Our firm offers a competitive base salary and comprehensive benefits package designed to support the well-being, growth, and long-term success of our people. Salary Range
: For individuals hired to work in Seattle, Washington, the expected base salary range for this role is $134,500 to $218,900. Actual compensation will be determined based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, and skill set.

: Employees (and their families) are eligible for medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance coverage. Employees may enroll in the firm's 401(k) plan upon hire.
