Position Overview:

As a
Senior DevOps Engineer
, you'll architect and maintain the cloud infrastructure that powers their AI-driven analytics platform. You'll be a cornerstone of the engineering team, leading the charge in managing cloud infrastructure and automation of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) that ensures the innovative SaaS platform operates at scale with enterprise-grade reliability.

As an AI-first company, the client expects its DevOps engineers to leverage AI tools for infrastructure optimization, automated troubleshooting, and operational efficiency, bringing the same innovative mindset to engineering practices that they deliver to customers.

Key Responsibilities:

● Design and Implement Scalable Cloud Infrastructure: Build and manage AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) for the SaaS platform including VPCs, ECS/EKS clusters, RDS databases, and serverless components.

● Streamline Customer SSO Integration: Innovate and improve the process for handling the connection of Customer SSO through Auth0/Okta.

● Establish Security and Compliance Framework: Lead SOC 2 Type II compliance implementation, establishing security controls, audit processes, and maintaining data privacy standards for enterprise customers.

● Manage CI/CD Pipeline Excellence: Build and maintain robust deployment pipelines using GitLab CI or GitHub Actions, enabling rapid and reliable software delivery.

● Ensure Production Reliability: Provide on-call production support, implement monitoring and alerting systems (CloudWatch, Grafana, Prometheus), and maintain disaster recovery protocols.

● Optimize Performance and Costs: Monitor system performance, implement auto-scaling solutions, and manage cloud costs while maintaining high availability and performance standards.

● Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with data scientists, software engineers, and product managers to ensure infrastructure fits team and business needs.

● Innovate and Scale: Continuously improve and scale infrastructure, staying ahead of emerging technologies and industry trends.

● Mentor and Lead: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, helping foster a culture of continuous learning and improvement.

Required Qualifications:

● 5+ Years of DevOps Experience: Proven track record as a DevOps Engineer with a strong portfolio of projects showcasing expertise in networking and cloud infrastructure.

● Technical Mastery: Proficiency in Linux, Terraform, Docker, AWS, or equivalents. Experience with tools such as ECS/EKS, Auth0/Okta, Kubernetes, Networking, and cloud-managed services are highly desirable.

● Network Expertise: Ability to design, improve, and implement network solutions to suit internal and external requirements.

● Collaborative Spirit: Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and share knowledge across disciplines.

● Bachelor's Degree: Degree in Computer Science, IT Networking, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
