Job Description

  • Advise institutional investors, developers, and private equity clients on complex commercial real estate transactions.
  • Structure and execute acquisitions, dispositions, and financings across multiple asset classes office, retail, logistics, healthcare, student housing, hospitality, and data centers.
  • Draft and negotiate purchase & sale agreements, joint venture documents, leases, and loan documents.
  • Conduct and manage due diligence (title, survey, environmental, zoning).
  • Advise clients on real estate development projects from entitlement to completion.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (tax, construction, zoning, finance) on deal execution.
  • Support clients in day-to-day real estate operations, including amendments, subleases, and lease assignments.

Qualifications

  • J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school with strong academic performance.
  • 35 years of commercial real estate experience at a nationally recognized law firm.
  • Admission to the New York Bar (required).
  • Proven experience in real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financing, and leasing.
  • Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
