Position Overview

We are seeking a Data Platform Architect in Seattle, WA to design, implement, and maintain enterprise data platforms. This role focuses on building cloud-based systems that support analytics, reporting, and operational workflows. The position is available for full-time or part-time candidates and offers flexible hybrid work options.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and manage scalable cloud-based data platforms to support analytics and operational processes.
  • Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines to integrate data from multiple sources.
  • Ensure data governance, quality, and proper documentation practices are followed.
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to translate requirements into practical, scalable data solutions.
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements.
  • Research emerging technologies and recommend enhancements to strengthen platform capabilities.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 3–5 years of experience in data engineering, data architecture, or cloud platform development.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Strong SQL skills and ETL/ELT development experience.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary: $155,000 – $165,000 annually
  • Annual Bonus: Typically 10–20% of base salary
