This is a consultation-focused role for someone who can build trust quickly, ask insightful questions, and help families navigate estate planning decisions with confidence. If you're a natural relationship-builder with a consultative mindset, we want to meet you.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Conduct Initial Client Consultations: Lead engaging discovery meetings with prospective clients exploring revocable living trusts, wills, asset protection, and comprehensive estate planning solutions
  • Guide Through Education & Options: Help clients understand the benefits of trust planning vs. wills, probate avoidance, privacy protection, and legacy design—addressing concerns with confidence and compassion
  • Uncover Client Needs: Use our proven consultation framework to identify family priorities, pain points, and goals through strategic questioning and active listening
  • Present Solutions & Investment Options: Clearly explain service packages and pricing, helping clients see the value in protecting their family's future
  • Seamless Team Collaboration: Partner with our attorneys for smooth client handoff to our production team
  • Maintain Client Records: Document consultation notes, follow-ups, and client progress in our practice management system (LawFlo)

Our Training & Support

You won't be thrown into the deep end. Our comprehensive 30-day training program includes:

  • Shadowing experienced team members during live client meetings
  • Daily script practice and role-playing sessions with feedback
  • Access to recorded client consultations to learn different scenarios
  • Ongoing mentorship and weekly performance reviews
  • Clear frameworks and proven methodologies for client conversations

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive base salary plus performance incentives - $45,000 base w/ bonus structure (to be determined)

Smith Barid is a tech-driven firm, and the ideal candidate will have a sales background, and be highly comfortable navigating CRM platforms, practice management systems, and various digital tools that enhance client experience.
