About the role:

The
Senior Electrical Engineer
will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of our electrical systems. This position supports a fast-growing business by developing electrical designs and test procedures that meet customer expectations. With multiple partners across the U.S., this role is key to maintaining alignment across projects and providing consistent technical support throughout execution.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design, analyze, and implement electrical systems for data centers, including
    power distribution, remote power panels, backup power, test areas, and monitoring systems.
  • Develop and review electrical schematics, single lines, layouts, and specifications to ensure compliance with customer expectations, industry standards and best practices.
  • Participate in commissioning and testing of electrical systems, identifying, and addressing any issues to ensure proper functionality and safety.
  • Work in accordance with deadlines for delivery of products.
  • Collaborate with external partners, contractors, and vendors to ensure successful project execution and timely delivery.
  • Provide technical support and expertise to resolve electrical-related issues during the construction, operation, and maintenance phases.
  • Capture design updates/redlines and create ECOs.
  • Ensure products conform to standards and to customer expectations.
  • Assist in the selection and procurement of electrical equipment and components, considering performance, cost, and reliability.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering.
  • Fifth Year College or university program certificate; or two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum of five years (5+) of related experience.
  • Indirectly supervises third party manufacturing.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD.
  • Strong knowledge of following standards but not limited to: UL1062, UL891, & NEC.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
  • Electrical Testing Knowledge / Experience.
  • Experience in Contract Manufacturing.

Travel:

  • Must be willing to
    travel up to 10-15%.
