Overview
Atlassian is reimagining the way work gets done. Join us and help define how customers use our platform to unlock team potential — with clear goals, connected work, strong teams, and intelligent tools.
Working at Atlassian
Atlassians can choose where they work – whether in an office, from home, or a combination of the two. That way, Atlassians have more control over supporting their family, personal goals, and other priorities. We can hire people in any country where we have a legal entity. Interviews and onboarding are conducted virtually, a part of being a distributed-first company.
Responsibilities
At Atlassian, the Teamwork Graph and Data Experiences Product Marketing team is at the heart of our Atlassian Cloud Platform strategy—powering intelligent, connected, and data-driven experiences across our product suite. We're seeking a Senior Product Marketing Manager (PMM) to drive go-to-market strategy, positioning, and adoption for these foundational capabilities, enabling customers to unlock the full value of their data and assets across Atlassian.
As a Senior PMM, you will own the end-to-end product marketing lifecycle for our platform data experiences. You'll partner closely with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success to define and execute strategies that drive awareness, adoption, and customer success for our platform and analytics offerings. You'll be a key voice in shaping how Atlassian's platform and data capabilities are brought to market, differentiated, and scaled.
In this role, you'll be responsible for
- Go-to-Market Leadership: Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for Teamwork Graph, Data Experiences, and Assets, including positioning, messaging, launch planning, and enablement.
- Market & Customer Insights: Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and customer segmentation to inform product strategy and marketing plans.
- Positioning & Messaging: Craft compelling narratives that articulate the value of Atlassian's platform, analytics, and asset management capabilities to technical and business audiences.
- Sales & Field Enablement: Create enablement materials, training, and collateral to empower sales, customer success, and partner teams.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product, Engineering, and Design to influence product roadmap and ensure market fit; work with Marketing and Communications to drive integrated campaigns.
- Performance Measurement: Define and track key metrics to measure the success of product marketing initiatives and inform ongoing strategy.
- Thought Leadership: Represent Atlassian at industry events, webinars, and with analysts to establish our leadership in platform and data experiences.
This role is ideal for a strategic, data-driven marketer with deep experience in platform product marketing, analytics, and/or marketing data products. You'll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Atlassian's platform and data experiences, working with some of the brightest minds in the industry. If you're passionate about building and marketing products that empower teams to do their best work, we'd love to hear from you.
Qualifications
Required:
- 5-7+ years of product marketing experience, with a focus on platform, analytics, or data products (B2B SaaS preferred)
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful go-to-market strategies for technical products
- Deep understanding of platform ecosystems, data/analytics products, and/or asset management solutions
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, customer-centric messaging
- Experience partnering with Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success teams in a highly cross-functional environment
- Strong analytical skills and experience using data to inform marketing strategy and measure impact
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment and manage multiple priorities
Preferred
- Experience marketing to technical audiences (e.g., developers, IT, data teams)
- Familiarity with Atlassian products and ecosystem
- MBA or advanced degree in business, marketing, or a related field
