MedClean, a division of Mickey's Linen, has been a market leader since 1930. MedClean is a full-service healthcare laundry serving surgical centers, medical clinics, skilled nursing communities and hospital systems with linen & healthcare laundry service. For over 90 years, we have been family owned & operated covering the Midwest region.

We are seeking a Linen Distribution Tech, primarily responsible for filling & stocking linen shelves and moving linen carts to assigned areas within the hospital.

Preferred Qualifications:

· High school degree or equivalent.

· Must be able to pass background check required by the Customer to access Customer Hospital facility.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Stock and deliver clean linen carts to designated areas within the hospital.
  • Receives daily linen orders from hospital staff, and maintains inventory of linen in unit closets.
  • Fill linen dispensing machines with appropriate quantities.
  • Ensure the linen room is neat and organized at the end of the shift.
  • Ensure all soil linen has been picked up and taken to the receiving dock.
  • Builds clean, neat, organized carts to set standard par level.
  • Cleans linen room as necessary—sweep, mop, pick-up as necessary.
  • Performs other duties as assigned and as detailed in the position job description.
  • Comply with all company safety standards, policies, guidelines, and established standard work processes.

Requirements:

  • Ability to complete work assignments in the designated timeline.
  • Attendance dependability is a must.
  • Flexible in performing a variety of general duties in accordance with the Linen Department requirements.
  • Standing, walking, pushing, and pulling more than 50+ lbs. for the full durations of a shift,.
  • Ability to perform physical labor over the duration of an entire shift, including repeated bending, stretching, twisting, and lifting and to meet other physical requirements as specified in position job description.
  • Understand and apply basic math.
  • Able to speak, read and write in English.
