Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient warehouse operations, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping & receiving. This position requires a strong work ethic, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to operate various warehouse equipment safely and effectively.
Responsibilities
- Manage inventory control processes to ensure accurate stock levels and minimize discrepancies.
- Operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, and pallet jacks for loading and unloading materials.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) for tracking inventory and processing orders.
- Perform picking & packing duties to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in compliance with OSHA standards.
- Assist in shipping & receiving activities, ensuring all materials are properly documented.
- Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to optimize workflow and improve operational efficiency.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure safe operation and report any mechanical issues.
- Participate in training sessions on new equipment or processes as needed.
Experience
- Strong attention to detail.
- Previous warehouse experience is highly preferred, with a focus on inventory management and distribution.
- Familiarity with RF scanners for tracking inventory movements is advantageous..
- Knowledge of packaging techniques and materials handling best practices is beneficial.
