Senior Python Test Automation Engineer

We are seeking an innovative Senior Python Test Automation Engineer to support the development of cutting-edge AI solutions.

The team will focus on implementing a Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) search framework powered by Python, vector databases, and Cognigy to refine customer experiences and boost efficiency. Your role will involve testing and validating critical components of this AI-driven system, ensuring seamless execution and quality results.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers and product owners, to establish quality criteria and develop test plans
• Define and implement automated testing frameworks for API, UI, and regression testing using Python-based tools
• Validate outputs of GenAI models in compliance with established governance rules, ensuring performance consistency and accuracy
• Perform manual and exploratory testing to uncover edge cases, usability challenges, and AI-specific anomalies
• Contribute to maintaining and improving the quality of the codebase by implementing robust testing strategies
• Work with API testing and load-testing tools to ensure system scalability and reliability under stress
• Interpret quality metrics and create dashboard reports to track key performance indicators
• Develop testing methods that align with enterprise expectations for GenAI solutions to support future scalability
• Support continuous improvement of QA processes to align with fast-evolving AI and ML pipelines

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience with Python test automation frameworks such as pytest, Robot Framework, or Selenium
• Proficiency in API testing with tools like Postman or REST-assured, combined with familiarity in load testing using Locust or JMeter
• Background in establishing and interpreting QA metrics and KPIs for performance and scalability analysis
• Prior experience working on QA roles for AI/ML-driven systems or GenAI applications
• Skills in cross-functional communication and collaboration for QA development across engineering and product teams

Nice to have

• Expertise in vector databases for AI/ML applications or related integrations
• Knowledge of Cognigy or other conversational AI platforms
• Understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) technologies applied to enterprise search systems
