Position Summary

The Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) will provide direct clinical services to adult and adolescent clients participating in substance use disorder (SUD) treatment programs, including Intensive Outpatient (IOP), Partial Hospitalization (PHP), and outpatient services. The LCSW will play a vital role in conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, facilitating group and family therapy, and ensuring compliance with Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) regulations and Joint Commission accreditation standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and diagnostic evaluations.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans focused on substance use recovery and co-occurring behavioral health conditions.
  • Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy sessions using evidence-based modalities (CBT, DBT, Motivational Interviewing, etc.).
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to support continuity of care across treatment levels.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR) in compliance with HHSC and Joint Commission standards.
  • Participate in treatment team meetings, utilization reviews, and clinical supervision as required.
  • Provide case management, discharge planning, and aftercare coordination to support sustained recovery.
  • Uphold the facility's mission, ethics, and confidentiality standards in all interactions.

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Social Work from an accredited university.
  • Active Texas LCSW license in good standing (required).
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a behavioral health or substance use treatment setting.
  • Experience with co-occurring disorders preferred.
  • Familiarity with HHSC and Joint Commission standards is a plus.
  • Strong clinical documentation, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Commitment to trauma-informed, culturally competent care.

Schedule and Compensation

  • Full-time or part-time positions available
  • Monday–Friday schedule with flexible hours for group facilitation
