Hospital Parking Attendant

Location: Dallas, TX(Hwy 75 & Walnut Hill)

Position Type: Full-Time (40 Hours)

Compensation: $13 / Hour

Hours: Monday-Friday 9:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m.

The Hospital Parking Attendant is responsible for providing exceptional customer service in an attentive, friendly, and efficient manner, including assistance with use of pay stations, and campus navigation. They will also direct traffic and operate gates and parking equipment to alleviate backups in parking areas. This position frequently works outside and can be exposed to the elements.

Duties and Responsibilities

· Greet arriving and departing guests in a timely, friendly, and courteous manner

· Direct traffic at entrances and exits to ensure efficient flow

· Assist in the maintenance and repair of parking equipment

· Perform vehicle counts throughout shift to ensure parking areas do not over fill available spaces

· Complete parking enforcement audits, including daily written reports

· Conduct parking enforcement procedures for employees who violate parking policies

· Maintain a sense of urgency in responding to customer needs

· Provide guests with appropriate information and effective solutions

Qualifications and Experience

· At least 18 years of age

· Ability to pass a criminal background check and drug screen

· Ability to clearly and professionally speak, read, and comprehend the English language

Working Conditions and Physical Demands

· Stand or walk for extended periods of time, sometimes for entire duration of shift

· Work is performed outdoors for extended periods of time, up to the entire duration of a shift

· Employees are subject to environmental conditions including extreme heat and cold weather
