Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Billing Specialist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing billing processes, ensuring accuracy in invoicing, and maintaining financial records. This position requires strong analytical skills and a commitment to providing excellent customer service while adhering to financial regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and issue invoices to clients in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, including tracking payments and resolving discrepancies.
  • Maintain detailed records of billing transactions and customer interactions.
  • Assist with coding invoices and ensuring proper documentation for financial reporting.
  • Collaborate with the finance team to ensure adherence to GAAP and SOX standards.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries related to billing issues promptly and professionally.
  • Utilize 10 key typing skills for efficient data entry and processing of billing information.
  • Support telemarketing efforts by providing accurate billing information as needed.

Experience

  • Previous experience in billing, accounts payable, or accounts receivable is preferred.
  • Familiarity with financial services and coding practices is a plus.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite is essential.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are required to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
