What You'll Get to Do

Echo Power has an opportunity for an experienced Senior Project Manager looking for career growth and new opportunities, to lead and oversee complex, turnkey projects from concept to completion. This role is ideal for a professional ready to take on greater leadership responsibilities and contribute to strategic project planning and execution. The Senior Project Manager will collaborate closely with Directors, Engineers, and Construction Managers while mentoring junior team members. This is a remote position with up to 50% travel to project sites, as required.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead the planning, execution, and closeout of large-scale, multi-disciplinary projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Develop, maintain, and oversee detailed project schedules using MS Project, ensuring coordination across engineering, construction, and subcontractor teams.
  • Manage and control project budgets, including cost tracking, forecasting, and variance analysis in coordination with Construction Managers.
  • Review, approve, and negotiate change orders with supporting documentation from vendors and subcontractors.
  • Build and maintain client, vendor, and subcontractor relationships to support business development and ensure project success.
  • Facilitate high-level design and coordination meetings with project stakeholders.
  • Identify and resolve technical challenges and project risks.
  • Define and manage project team objectives, delegate tasks, and monitor progress to ensure on-time, within-budget completion.
  • Ensure all project documentation is accurate, complete, and properly stored in accordance with company standards.
  • Oversee site manpower forecasting on a weekly and monthly basis.
  • Prepare and review high-level project communications, including proposals, executive summaries, reports, memos, and meeting minutes.
  • Authorize and approve key project documents, including invoices, purchase orders, and closeout documentation.
  • Supervise the RFI and submittal process in CMiC, ensuring timely responses and approvals.
  • Review and oversee all material and equipment submittals, ensuring compliance with project specifications.
  • Provide onsite presence periodically as required.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Project, SharePoint, and CMiC (or similar project management platform).
  • Ability to travel/be onsite up to 50% of the time.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive project management experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or lead capacity, or 9+ years of project management and/or field experience.
  • PMP certification (or equivalent) is strongly preferred.

Job Location

Remote (with travel up to 50%). Candidates should live within one hour of a commercial airport.

Pay and Benefits

  • Salary: $111,000 – $139,000 annually (based on education, experience, and location).
  • Annual bonus up to 15% of base salary.
