Seeking Kind and Driven Therapist
We are seeking a Therapist to join our team of passionate professionals who are dedicated to providing treatment services to individuals who suffer from addiction. We want you and your team to come to the facility every day knowing what it takes to "win" for the day. We accomplish that by looking at and providing the team the key daily metrics that help them stay on track, provide a WOW experience to our clients, and leave each day knowing where they stand.
** Sign-On Bonus- $5,000**
Responsibilities:
- Assessment and Evaluation:
- Conduct thorough assessments to understand clients' history, substance use patterns, mental health, and social factors influencing addiction.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop comprehensive treatment plans based on individual needs.
- Individual and Group Therapy:
- Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to clients through individual and group counseling sessions.
- Implement various therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailored to clients' needs.
- Treatment Planning and Goal Setting:
- Work collaboratively with clients to establish achievable treatment goals and objectives.
- Monitor and adjust treatment plans based on clients' progress and changing needs.
- Education and Skill Building:
- Educate clients on the physiological and psychological aspects of substance abuse and recovery.
- Facilitate skill-building sessions to enhance coping mechanisms, stress management, and relapse prevention strategies.
- Crisis Intervention:
- Respond to crisis situations promptly and provide immediate interventions to ensure the safety and well-being of clients.
- Collaborate with emergency services and other relevant resources as needed.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, documenting assessment findings, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
- Provide regular reports and updates to the treatment team and other stakeholders.
- Additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Must be licensed in the state of Texas; LPC, LMSW, LCSW, LMFT, Associates and LCDC can also be considered.
- Master's degree in counseling, preferred
- 1+ years experience working in a mental health field preferred
