The Role:

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our growing technology team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in AWS cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization technologies (Docker & Kubernetes). You'll be responsible for managing and optimizing existing cloud environments, automating deployments, and leading the migration of legacy systems to cloud.

Key Responsibilities:

Cloud Infrastructure Management:

  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable AWS environments.
  • Monitor, optimize, and ensure high availability and performance of cloud systems.

CI/CD & Automation:

  • Build, enhance, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated build, test, and deployment processes.
  • Integrate automated testing, code quality, and security scanning into pipelines.

Containerization & Orchestration:

  • Develop and maintain containerized applications using Docker.
  • Manage and scale containerized workloads using Kubernetes or Amazon EKS.

Legacy System Migration:

  • Assess existing legacy systems and plan cloud migration strategies.
  • Execute smooth migrations with minimal downtime and ensure post-migration optimization.

Monitoring & Incident Management:

  • Implement and manage monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch).
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues quickly and effectively.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement:

  • Work closely with development and operations teams to drive DevOps best practices.
  • Stay up to date with emerging DevOps technologies and recommend process improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3–5 years of hands-on DevOps experience.
  • Strong expertise in AWS services (EC2, ECS, Lambda, S3, RDS, CloudFormation, etc.).
  • Proficiency with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or CircleCI).
  • Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for application containerization and orchestration.
  • Proven experience in migrating legacy applications to cloud infrastructure.
  • AWS certification (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer or Solutions Architect) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (Shell, Bash, etc.).
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and modern software development practices.
