  • Job Summary:

The Leasing Associate is responsible for managing the day-to-day leasing operations, providing exceptional customer service to prospective and current residents, and ensuring all leasing and community standards are maintained. This role requires excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and meet with potential renters, conduct property tours, and highlight the features and benefits of available units.
  • Follow up promptly on all rental inquiries, leads, and applications to maintain high occupancy levels.
  • Screen applicants by performing background, credit, and reference checks to ensure qualification in accordance with company and fair housing standards.
  • Prepare and process leasing documents, renewals, and related paperwork in compliance with property policies and regulations.
  • Collect and record rent payments, application fees, and security deposits accurately and securely.
  • Communicate effectively with residents regarding lease terms, community updates, maintenance schedules, and policy changes.
  • Foster positive resident relationships through personalized service and proactive communication to support resident satisfaction and retention.
  • Monitor and help maintain community common areas such as fitness centers, laundry rooms, and mailrooms to ensure a clean, safe, and welcoming environment.

Qualifications:

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and follow-up abilities.
  • Familiarity with property management software and leasing documentation preferred.
  • Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
  • Prior leasing or customer service experience is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $ $19.00 per hour
