Multimedia Specialist

Job Title: Multimedia Editor Overview:

The Multimedia Editor is responsible for creating, editing, and producing engaging multimedia content across digital platforms. This includes video, audio, graphics, photography, and interactive media that align with brand messaging and communication goals. The ideal candidate combines creative storytelling skills with technical proficiency in multimedia production tools.

Key Responsibilities:

• Content Creation & Editing:
• Produce, edit, and optimize multimedia content (videos, podcasts, motion graphics, photos, and animations) for websites, social media, and marketing campaigns.
• Video & Audio Production:

Manage the entire production process — from scripting and shooting to editing, color correction, sound mixing, and final delivery.

• Graphic Design & Motion Graphics:

Design visual assets, infographics, and short animations to enhance storytelling and audience engagement. Work closely with marketing, communications, and design teams to conceptualize and execute multimedia projects that support organizational objectives. Ensure all content adheres to brand identity guidelines and maintains a consistent visual and tonal style. Maintain and organize multimedia archives, manage file storage systems, and ensure content is optimized for different digital platforms. Review and proof content for visual quality, technical accuracy, and message clarity before publication. Stay current with multimedia production trends, tools, and technologies to enhance creative output. Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Multimedia Production, Film, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• Proven experience (2–5 years) in multimedia editing, video production, or digital content creation.
• Proficiency in software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, Audition) or equivalent tools.
• Strong storytelling, visual composition, and editing skills.
• Knowledge of social media formats, SEO for video, and web content optimization.
• Ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with 3D animation or interactive media tools (e.g., Blender, Unity, or Unreal Engine).
• Familiarity with camera operation, lighting, and sound recording equipment.
• Understanding of accessibility standards for multimedia content.

Work Environment:

This role may be based in an office, studio, or remote environment and may require occasional travel for on-site shoots or events.
