Salary Range

Salary: $50,000 to $150,000

Commissions: Uncapped Commissions on Gross Profit

Expected 1st year income

With a book of business, estimated $100,000 plus

Without a book of business, estimated at $65,000 plus

Logistics Worldwide is currently looking to hire Freight Agents for Inside Sales. This position is entry level and responsible for generating new revenue through prospecting via the telephone and internet to pursue business. The Representative will assess business potential, plan and organize call campaigns and provide formal client presentations via web demonstrations. Experience preferred but not required.

Qualifications:

• Must have a booked of business worth $175,000 in Gross Profit
• Must be able to move book of business within the first 60 days
• 3 years minimum of Freight Agent experience is required
• Cannot be bound by a Non-Compete
• Must be willing to sign a Non-Compete & Solicit

Education/Experience:

• Some college preferred but not required.
• Previous sales or call center experience required.
• Freight Agent experience is a must.

Mathematical Skills:

• Ability to calculate in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Reasoning Ability:

• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
• Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Language Skills:

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Computer Skills:

• To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Database software, Internet software, Order processing systems, and Microsoft software.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Make prospecting calls.
• Deal with a high volume of inbound and outbound phone calls.
• Managing customers' interest.
• Build relationships with customers.
• Maintain high levels of growth.
• Focus on full truckload and LTL (less than truckload) services.
• Solve customer and carrier problems and help resolve issues.
• Excellent multitasking skills within their work space as well as computer software programs.
