Verintegra, a leading Texas security company founded by former law-enforcement and public safety officers, is seeking reliable Commissioned Security Officers to protect client sites throughout the greater Austin area. Since 2018, we have delivered professional, technology-driven security solutions grounded in integrity, accountability, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide armed security at assorted client locations in Austin and surrounding regions
  • Conduct patrols, control access, and enforce safety protocols
  • Generate detailed incident and daily activity reports via software
  • Respond to emergencies and liaise with law-enforcement or first-responder agencies as needed
  • Maintain a professional appearance and customer-service focus that upholds Verintegra's reputation for excellence
  • Perform other security-related duties as assigned by operations management
  • Shifts may involve extended periods of sitting, walking, and standing

Requirements

  • Texas Level 3 Commissioned Security License (must be current)
  • At least one (1) year of verifiable armed or unarmed security experience
  • Valid driver's license and reliable personal transportation (no take-home vehicle)
  • Residence within 30 miles of Midland, TX
  • Own and maintain a smartphone for communications and reporting
  • Capability to sit, walk, and stand for prolonged periods
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently while meeting Verintegra's high standards

Work Environment

Officers may rotate among diverse client sites across West Texas. Adaptability to different environments and rapid response to evolving security needs are essential.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 4 – 16 per week
