Overview
LABUR is supporting a client in driving business process improvement and technology initiatives by embedding a Junior Business Analyst into a collaborative project team. This engagement offers an opportunity to contribute to high-impact solutions while gaining hands-on experience in requirements gathering, data analysis, and solution development. Working closely with senior analysts and cross-functional stakeholders, the Junior Business Analyst will help ensure that business needs are translated into actionable outcomes aligned with organizational goals, while building a strong foundation for future growth.

Responsibilities

  • Collect and document business requirements through stakeholder interviews and workshops.
  • Assist in translating business needs into functional specifications for technical teams.
  • Perform basic data analysis to identify trends and insights.
  • Create dashboards, reports, and presentations to communicate findings effectively.
  • Document current business processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Support development of process maps and workflow diagrams.
  • Assist in project planning, scheduling, and status reporting.
  • Participate in user acceptance testing and quality assurance activities.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including IT, sales, and operations.
  • Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 0–2 years of experience in business analysis or related role.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; basic knowledge of SQL and data visualization tools (Excel, Tableau, Power BI).
  • Experience with Jira preferred.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, time management, and presentation skills.

Compensation
$35 - $40 per hour - Dependent on fit and experience.
