Position Overview: Hero Flare is seeking a Field Service Technician to help carry out preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and commissioning on flares and combustors. This position can be based out of the Monahans/Pecos area.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Must have the flexibility to work necessary hours to support the customer.
  • Must be hands-on to replace combustor and flare ignition system components when repairs are needed.
  • Assist in carrying out flare and combustor startups, troubleshooting, inspection, and repair.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications:

  • No experience needed, but preferred

Position Criteria:

  • Oilfield experience is a plus, but not required
  • Must have good mechanical aptitude.
  • Must have strong communication skills and is capable of effectively communicating with all levels of personnel.
  • Results-oriented

  • Climb steps and ladders.
  • Lift 50 pounds or less
  • Travel in service truck for extended periods
  • Position is subjected to weather elements and must be capable of performing tasks in all weather conditions in the region the work is being performed.

Hiring Notice: The hired employee will be put under a probationary period of 30 business days before being hired on full time. The employee must show up on time during this period in order to receive full benefits.
