We work directly with our customers to build customized modern technology that fits their complex needs. In 2020, FSI received significant investments to grow and expand on the foundation established since the company began in 2002. We believe our most exciting chapter is just beginning, and we're looking for talent that wants to make an impact. If you're looking for a fast-paced, innovative community with a team focused on collaboration and empowerment through technology, we encourage you to get in touch.

Your role

The Events Specialist will be responsible for planning, executing, and optimizing FSI's event portfolio, with a particular focus on our mobile event unit and a high-volume of regional events across the U.S. You will manage logistics, vendor coordination, on-site execution, and post-event analysis to ensure each event aligns with FSI's brand, supports our sales pipeline, and delivers excellent attendee experience.

As part of the Growth Team, reporting directly to the Director of Marketing, you'll help build awareness around FSI's platform leading our robust events strategy. This is a newly created role and we're looking for someone who lives and breathes the events lifecycle with a high degree of organization and professionalism.

Your responsibilities

  • Oversee the full event life-cycle: ideation, planning, logistics, on-site execution and post-event follow-up.
  • Manage logistics for 70+ regional events each year: trade shows, user group meetings, roadshows, and partner events.
  • Develop detailed event project plans, timelines, budgets and checklists with key milestones.
  • Work cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Customer Solutions and External Partners to ensure event goals align with pipeline, brand messaging and attendee experience.
  • Coordinate vendor contracts, shipping/transport, booth needs (swag, signage)
  • Post-event: assist with data capture (attendee leads, feedback), budget reconciliation, performance metrics (ROI, cost per attendee, pipeline attribution), and retro summaries with recommendations for improvement.
  • Maintain event inventory (swag, collateral, signage, demo equipment)
  • Work with Marketing operations to integrate event data into CRM/marketing automation, ensure accurate leads flow to Sales and timely follow-up.
  • Support brand consistency across all event touchpoints: pre-event communications, on-site branding, digital lead capture, post-event follow-up.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Event Management or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of event planning and execution experience, ideally within B2B SaaS, technology or healthcare environment.
  • Excellent project-management skills: ability to juggle multiple events simultaneously, maintain detailed timelines, budgets and checklists.
  • On-site event experience: ability to travel
  • Strong collaboration skills: comfortable working cross-functionally with marketing, sales, product, external partners.
  • Data-driven mindset: capable of tracking/event metrics, reporting on ROI, pipeline attribution, cost-per-lead, etc.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred:

  • Experience in healthcare technology or software/SaaS marketing.
  • Familiarity with CRM and marketing-automation integration for event leads (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce)
  • Experience working with mobile/demonstration vehicles or branded environments (e.g., vans, trailers, pop-up experiences).
  • Ability to work proactively and independently in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.

What You'll Gain

  • Ownership of major marketing initiatives that directly impact company growth.
  • A collaborative, fast-moving environment that values creativity and execution equally.
  • Exposure to multiple facets of marketing — events, content, analytics, and automation.

Work Location:

We are a remote-first team. Moderate travel: Revenue/Marketing meetings, conferences and events.

Compensation:

The compensation offered for this position will be based upon relevant experience, qualifications, and work location. The expected salary range for this role is $60,000-$70,000 annually.
