What You Will Do:

• Support and develop automation solutions that enable our teams to build and deploy code efficiently and consistently.

• Use troubleshooting skills to resolve issues with build chain or CI/CD pipeline tools.

• Consider the organization's entire CI/CD infrastructure when making changes and improvements.

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and student must be pursuing a Bachelor's or advanced degree in an applicable discipline.  

• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required 

• U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance 

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Experience in development IDEs such as Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, or other related.

• Experience working in Linux and Windows environments.

• Interest in deploying, configuring, and supporting CI/CD Pipelines.

• Interest in common software development and management tools such as GitLab, Jira, Confluence, Coverity, Nexus, Artifactory, and Splunk.

• Interest in automation frameworks such as Ansible, Terraform, Puppet, etc.

• Interest in working in virtual environments such as VMware, Proxmox, etc.

• Interest in server-side scripting languages such as Python, Bash, and PowerShell.

• Interest in continuous integration for real-time testing and diagnostics within a virtualized environment.

• Interest in application development and integration within one or more IaaS/PaaS (Red Hat OpenShift / VMware / OpenStack).

• Interest in cloud networking frameworks (L2, L3, and spine-leaf architecture).

• Interest in microservices using RESTful APIs.

• Interest in Agile Development Methodologies (e.g. Scrum, SAFe).

• Interest in JSON, XML, YAML and XSD formats, rules, and usages.

The salary range for this role is 42,000 USD - 88,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
