Elite Billing and Collections is seeking a skilled, detail-driven Medical Paralegal with strong experience in Motor Vehicle Accident (MVA) claims and Workers' Compensation claims. This is a full-time position with no evenings or weekends, offering an opportunity to work with a dynamic, fast-growing company that thrives on precision, advocacy, and results.

We're not your typical billing company, we work at the intersection of healthcare and law, representing medical providers in complex insurance disputes, arbitration filings, and reimbursement recovery cases. If you're a paralegal who loves digging into evidence, crafting persuasive arguments, and managing multiple high priority matters at once, we want you on our team.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and manage legal documentation related to PIP, Workers' Compensation, and commercial insurance claims
  • Draft appeals, arbitration submissions, and demand letters with accuracy and strong legal reasoning
  • Review medical records, EOBs, CPT/ICD-10 coding, and carrier correspondence to support case development
  • Collaborate with attorneys, physicians, and billing specialists to ensure timely and accurate filings
  • Maintain organized case files, meet strict deadlines, and manage multiple active claims simultaneously
  • Communicate professionally with law firms, insurance carriers, and internal departments

Qualifications

  • Minimum 2–3 years of paralegal experience required (medical-legal background strongly preferred)
  • Direct experience handling MVA, PIP, and Workers' Compensation claims
  • Exceptional writing and communication skills, clarity, tone, and accuracy are critical
  • Ability to multi-task under pressure and manage time sensitive cases with composure
  • Familiarity with medical terminology, insurance billing, and state arbitration processes is a plus
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to meeting deadlines
