We are hiring a
Senior Backend Engineer
for an early-stage startup that's reimagining real-time IT operations using Generative AI. Their platform brings together cutting-edge LLMs and decades of enterprise engineering to build an autonomous AI SRE—an agent that can detect, diagnose, and resolve production incidents in real time. It's one of the most technically ambitious AI applications in production infrastructure today.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Designing and scaling backend services that support AI-driven workflows
  • Building Python-based APIs and orchestration systems tightly integrated with AI agents
  • Optimizing distributed systems for performance, resilience, and scalability
  • Collaborating closely with AI and product teams to embed intelligence into the platform
  • Influencing core architecture and engineering practices in a fast-moving environment

What We're Looking For

  • Strong experience with backend development (APIs, microservices, distributed systems)
  • Proficiency in Python, Go, or similar languages
  • Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, and modern SaaS architectures
  • Experience optimizing for scale and reliability in production systems
  • Bonus: Interest or experience in AI/ML or intelligent automation
