Description

The Field Market Manager's focus is to be onsite as the EventLink Manager for all local client events that take place in the market. At times events are held outside of this immediate area where travel may be required. Tasked with successfully staffing, implementing, and supervising campaigns which meet client objectives and expand company's portfolio.

Responsibilities:

Day-to-day, the Field Market Manager will be required to do all tasks relative to a project-based position, which includes the following, but not limited to:

  • Attend and manage on-site events with our teams of Brand Ambassadors, Production Assistants, and Bartenders for all major activations and sponsorships for the client
  • Lead staffing of all seasonal staff for all events for the client by completing timesheets and payroll accurately in accordance with EventLink's payroll schedule
  • Manage the various local sales team requests which involves asset production, staffing, vendor sourcing and management, warehouse asset pickups, etc.
  • Complete event recaps for the client as directed by the Account Services team
  • Support the Account Services team on the project management/event planning side of the account from start to finish. This includes but is not limited to:
    • Development of concept decks/presentation according to the brand guide/marketing direction as provided by the client
    • Budget creation and tracking to ensure all project elements are included
    • Timeline creation to ensure all deadlines are met
    • Final project presentation available for clients/our team prior to project launch so everyone is aware of all program/event details
    • Reconcile all project budgets post-event
  • Track and manage all financials of each project through our Teamwork system. This includes:
    • Submitting vendor/supplier invoices and sponsorship fees due to a partner for a project
  • Track and manage all project expenses through our Concur system
Qualifications

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Advertising, and/or Communications.

Experience:

  • 2-4 years of experience in the Event Industry is a plus
  • 2+ years of Field Management experience strongly preferred, with previous Management experience of some sort required

Requirements:

  • Ability to work alongside a team of professionals including our clients, internal EventLink teams, Partners, Vendors, Client Accounts, Client Brand Ambassadors, etc.
  • Impeccable versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
  • Strong ability to manage priorities and workflow to successfully complete any task at hand
  • Excellent written, verbal & presentation skills
  • Excellent skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Box, Teamwork, Teams, PayCom, and Concur
  • Highly organized with keen attention to detail
  • Ability to determine when additional support is needed from the team and provide delegation
  • Strong sense of awareness and great decision-making skills

Schedule:

  • Able to travel to events that are within the required market.  Out-of-market travel may be required at times.
  • Must be flexible with work schedules
