Senior C++ Software Engineer (Windows, Modern C++, Automation)

Dallas, TX or Alpharetta, GA

5 days onsite

We are looking for a seasoned Software Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for a problem-solver who thrives on maintaining and modernizing complex systems within a Windows environment. If you have deep expertise in C++ and a passion for automation and quality, we want to hear from you.

Key Qualifications & Must-Haves:

  • 5+ years of recent, hands-on experience
    with
    C++
    in a
    Windows environment
    is required.
  • Extensive knowledge of
    Win32 programming
    ,
    Visual C++
    , and
    Modern C++
    standards.
  • Strong proficiency in
    Python (3+ years)
    for scripting and automation.
  • Proven ability to navigate, debug, and fix defects in
    legacy codebases
    .
  • A strong automation mindset with experience building and executing automated qualification tests and frameworks.
  • Solid experience with
    C#
    and other scripting languages.
  • Demonstrated expertise in
    unit testing
    using frameworks like
    Google Test, CppUnit, etc.

What You'll Do:

  • Design, implement, and maintain robust software features for our products.
  • Build and execute comprehensive unit and automated tests.
  • Debug complex issues and drive them to effective resolution.
  • Mentor team members and participate in code and test reviews.
  • Collaborate within an Agile/Scrum team, contributing to sprint planning and estimations.
  • Uphold the highest standards of software quality, security, and best practices.

Nice-to-Have Skills:
