As a Senior Bridge Engineer in our Boston office, you'll work alongside some of the industry's most respected experts, tackle complex technical challenges, and contribute to projects that define infrastructure excellence across the Northeast.Responsibilities & Qualifications
As a Senior Bridge Engineer, you will:
Lead the structural design of complex and conventional transportation infrastructure, including bridges, tunnels, and walls.
Oversee and review engineering reports, calculations, and drawings for accuracy and compliance.
Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior engineers.
Work directly with state agencies, municipalities, and design/build contractors to develop tailored solutions.
Play a key role in business development efforts, leading/assisting proposals, engaging with clients and presenting innovative solutions.
What You Bring:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred).
8+ years of structural design experience in bridges and transportation infrastructure.
PE License is required, preferably from Massachusetts.
Development of calculations using Excel and Mathcad. Experience with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.
Expertise in structural analysis software such as SAP2000, CSI Bridge, VBridge, LEAP Bridge, LPile, and more.
Experience with MassDOT project is highly preferred.

TYLin is committed to pay equity. As part of that commitment, we have provided the base compensation range of $117,300 - $192,000 annually for this position and local market. We recognize that each candidate brings a unique set of skills, experience, education and competencies to the table that will be reflected in our offer.
