Kadiak, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking an OCONUS Construction Manager with a Secret Clearance to support Koniag and our government customer. This is a short-term assignment that may evolve into long-term assignment abroad.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:
- This position is responsible for coordinating the effective execution of all construction activities for a large construction contract.
- This position supervises construction entry level personnel and/or construction supervisors.
- Contribute to project effectiveness by assisting with the interpretation of engineering drawings, work orders, specifications and manufacturer's technical data materials; also assist or perform diagnostics of equipment failures and recommend solutions to solving equipment reliability problems.
- Strong working knowledge of the application of OBO Security Classification Guide for the Design and Construction of Overseas Facilities.
- Responsible for ensuring compliance with site security requirements and reporting to Corporate FSO.
- Attend project progress meetings.
- Communicate effectively with audiences that include but are not limited to customer, management, coworkers, clients, vendors and contractors.
- Improve service results by developing and implementing work process improvements in assigned area of responsibility.
- Make sure work is carried out in an efficient manner by coordinating daily work schedules with the customer's operations, including personnel deployment, materials coordination and information availability.
- As directed, fulfill contract requirements by ensuring that the duties and responsibilities of the project contract are clearly defined, documented and followed by the team.
- Ability to live internationally – assignment may last up to 36 months.
- The Construction Manager shall be responsible for ensuring Contractor compliance with site security requirements.
- Responsible for ensuring the Contractor personnel on site are adhering to the contract personnel requirements.
Requirements
- Top Secret Security Clearance.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience managing information and personnel security issues at either domestic or overseas sites.
- Shall have a working knowledge of the application of the OBO Security Classification Guide for the Design and Construction of Overseas Facilities.
- Reporting of personnel requirements will be provided to the corporate Facility Security Officer.
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Construction Science/Technology, or Construction Management.
- In lieu of meeting the educational requirements above, recent successful performance as Project Manager on OBO projects of similar size, complexity, and location will be acceptable.
- Experience in all aspects of design/build contract execution.
- The Project Manager shall be supported by qualified construction management, field engineering, project controls, and administrative support staff as necessary.
