Process reaffirmation agreements, trustee disbursements, and payment suspensions or reinstatements per court directives.
Track discharges, dismissals, and conversions to ensure proper reinstatement of loan billing and collections activity.
Compliance & Documentation
Ensure all filings, responses, and actions adhere to federal bankruptcy code, CFPB, and investor guidelines.

Review and reconcile trustee payments against loan servicing records; resolve variances and overpayments promptly.
Support annual audits, investor requests, and internal QA reviews with complete and accurate records.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with Collections, Loss Mitigation, and Default Services to ensure appropriate treatment of loans under bankruptcy protection.
Communicate regularly with escrow, insurance, and investor reporting teams regarding payment holds, recoveries, and remittances.
Provide education and procedural updates to internal teams regarding bankruptcy requirements and status changes.
Performance & Process Improvement
Identify recurring process gaps or compliance risks and propose procedural enhancements.
Support automation initiatives for plan tracking, trustee payment posting, and attorney communications.
Maintain KPI reporting for open cases, SLA compliance, and recovery timelines.
