About the Opportunity:

We are representing a top-performing consulting firm seeking a Senior Consultant – IT Audit to join their expanding advisory practice in Dallas. In this role, you'll work closely with high-impact clients across various industries, helping them identify and manage technology, cybersecurity, and cloud-related risks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute IT audits, including SOX IT General Controls, cybersecurity assessments, and cloud risk reviews
  • Conduct evaluations and testing of ITGCs and application controls across on-premise and cloud environments (AWS, Azure)
  • Perform IT risk assessments to support internal controls and compliance initiatives
  • Collaborate with client stakeholders and internal teams to deliver actionable recommendations
  • Assist with planning, fieldwork, and reporting phases of engagements
  • Maintain audit documentation in accordance with professional standards and firm methodology

Qualifications:

  • 2–5 years of experience in IT audit, risk advisory, or internal controls
  • Background in professional services, public accounting, or internal audit
  • Strong understanding of ITGCs and experience auditing cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
  • Exposure to or interest in cybersecurity assessments
  • Excellent communication and client-facing skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Accounting, or a related field
  • CISA (preferred) or working toward certification
