Commercial Loan Coordinator
JOB SUMMARY:
The Commercial Loan Coordinator (CLC) will work with the Commercial Relationship Manager and their client to provide an efficient loan closing experience. Under the direction of the Commercial Loan Documentation Manager, the CLC will act as the primary point of contact for all parties during the commercial loan closing process, requesting the necessary documentation and third party due diligence to ensure all loan approval conditions and documentation standards are met. Upon completion of all necessary pre-work, the CLC will prepare the appropriate loan documentation for closing subject to final review by the commercial closing team. As with all parts of the position, the goal of the Commercial Loan Coordinator will be to deliver on the Dart Bank niche of "Fast & Reliable, Relationship Banking."
JOB DUTIES:
- Upon receipt of new loan approvals (new money & renewals) from the CLDM, the Commercial Loan Coordinator will complete a review of the approval document and provide a pre-closing checklist to the CRM and Borrower detailing all items necessary for loan closing transaction to be finalized.
- Will order and / or monitor delivery of third-party due diligence such as title work, insurance, UCC statements, flood certificates, etc.
- Coordinate with various teams to ensure that appraisals, environmental due diligence, pre-closing construction reviews are completed within agreed upon timelines.
- Will request the appropriate documentation from the client and guarantors to substantiate corporate authorities, etc.
- Prepares Beneficial Ownership forms for review and execution by the client.
- Once all necessary pre-closing requirements are met, the Commercial Loan Coordinator will prepare the necessary loan documents to complete the loan transaction.
- If necessary, the CLC will work their manager or the Commercial Loan Operations Officer to have outside counsel prepare a loan closing package to Bank standards.
- Submits the finalized loan closing package for review by the Commercial Closing Specialist for review and final clear to close authorization.
- Delivers a closing packet to the Commercial Relationship Manager via traditional or electronic means for closing with all necessary items to complete the loan transaction.
- Processes all loan advances, funding, and wires upon successful loan closing.
- Prepares a complete post-closing package for delivery to Commercial Loan Servicing team in order for them to board, track, and image the transaction into the core record keeping systems. This may include any completing regulatory required documentation, HMDA / HVADC / CRE, etc.
- Maintains high levels of transparency regarding delivery expectations and remaining items necessary
- Performs a variety of other duties as assigned.
- Adheres to all Federal and State laws and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act.
