Location:

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced
Labeling Project Manager
to lead labeling change projects in a regulated medical device environment. The role focuses on managing labeling projects from planning through execution, ensuring compliance with global regulatory standards and internal quality systems. This position requires strong project management skills, cross-functional leadership, and expertise in labeling design and change control processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of labeling projects for new products and lifecycle changes.
  • Manage cross-functional teams including Regulatory, Quality, R&D, Marketing, and Manufacturing to ensure timely and compliant label updates.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for labeling project strategies, risk analysis, and prioritization.
  • Oversee label change requests, design approvals, and impact assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO 14607:2024 and other applicable regulatory and corporate standards.
  • Maintain labeling master data, documentation, and version histories.
  • Coordinate multi-project timelines and communicate project status to stakeholders.
  • Support CAPA, deviation investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives related to labeling.
  • Supervise internal or contracted associates contributing to labeling project execution.
  • Partner with planning teams for phase-in/phase-out strategies of label changes in alignment with commercial, quality, and regulatory objectives.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Design, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in labeling, operations, engineering, quality, or regulatory projects with leadership accountability.
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional teams and complex projects.
  • Strong understanding of medical device regulations, labeling design, and change control procedures.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred; Green Belt certification a plus.
  • Proficiency with PLM/ERP systems (Adaptiv, Windchill, EpiCenter, JDE ERP) and Microsoft Project, Visio, and Adobe Illustrator.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Knowledge of packaging machines (Flow Wrap, Cartoning) is a plus.
