Senior Specialty Pharmacy Sales Executive – Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Augmentation Therapy

(Fully Remote Position with traveled as needed)

We are a patient-focused specialty pharmacy dedicated to providing personalized care, high-touch clinical services, and streamlined access for patients with rare and chronic conditions.

Our team partners closely with prescribers, manufacturers, and payers to deliver safe, timely, and effective specialty therapies — including infusion-based biologics and limited-distribution medications.

Position Summary:

The Specialty Pharmacy Sales Representative will promote and expand access to Alpha-1 Antitrypsin (AAT) Augmentation Therapies — including Aralast NP, Prolastin-C, and Glassia — through targeted outreach and relationship management within the pulmonary, respiratory, and immunology markets.

This role focuses on educating clinicians, strengthening referral relationships, and driving patient enrollment into our specialty pharmacy programs.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage relationships with pulmonologists, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, and immunologists who diagnose and treat Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency (AATD).
  • Educate prescribers and staff on therapy access, infusion coordination, and reimbursement support provided by the pharmacy.
  • Partner with home infusion nurses, case managers, and hospital discharge planners to ensure continuity of care.
  • Represent the pharmacy at Alpha-1 Foundation events, COPD conferences, and community outreach programs to increase disease awareness.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all field activities in CRM and adhere to company compliance and reporting standards.

Required Skills/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree required (Life Sciences, Business, or related field preferred).
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in specialty pharmacy, biotech, or rare disease sales.
  • Proven success calling on pulmonology, immunology, or infusion centers.
  • Knowledge of Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency (AATD) or related respiratory conditions.
  • Strong understanding of payer access, reimbursement processes, and limited distribution drug models.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $160, $190,000.00 per year
