JOB SUMMARY
The Manager, Talent Acquisition executes ADG's enterprise-wide recruitment strategy across all Business Units (BUs), overseeing the Talent Acquisition team and ensuring an exceptional candidate and hiring manager experience. This role manages the full lifecycle recruiting function, supports innovative workforce initiatives, oversees contingent labor partnerships, and manages key systems and vendor relationships in alignment with direction from HR leadership.
This leader applies data-driven insight, fosters community outreach in partnership with local business units , and brings creativity to sourcing approaches, while ensuring timely and compliant hiring practices. They report to the Director, Human Resources and supervise all recruiting resources.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Lead, coach, and develop the Talent Acquisition team, supporting multi-state hiring across all Business Units (BUs)
- Oversee full-cycle recruitment and drive performance metrics for both internal and external openings across ADG
- Leverage technology solutions to continuously optimize the recruitment process and drive efficiencies
- Manages the Recruiting module and Request to Hire (RTH) workflows in Paylocity, ensuring consistency and compliance in approval processes
- Manage external partnerships with job boards and posting platforms (LinkedIn, Indeed, Glassdoor, etc.), including contract oversight and performance optimization
- Maintain and oversee ADG's contingent labor program, including vendor relationships and database accuracy
- Monitor and improve recruiting effectiveness by generating and analyzing time-to-fill, sourcing, and other TA-related dashboards and reports
- Foster collaboration between Talent Acquisition, Business Unit Leadership teams, and HR Business Partner teams to improve the overall candidate and hiring manager experience
- Support and foster community outreach activities led by business units, such as school, workforce, and industry outreach across the ADG footprint
- Actively participate in day-to-day recruiting execution, serving as a hands-on leader and providing backup support across the Talent Acquisition team as needed
- Collaborate with HR leadership on employer branding, talent attraction strategies, and process improvement initiatives
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company guidelines, policies and procedures, and applicable laws. Responsibilities include:
- Interviewing, hiring, and training TA staff
- Planning, assigning, and directing work
- Appraising performance and providing feedback
- Managing escalations and resolving problems
- Leading TA special projects and initiatives

Bachelor's degree required, degree in HR, Business, or related field preferred
- 5+ years of progressive experience in Talent Acquisition, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or lead role
- Proven ability to manage multiple requisitions, priorities, and direct reports across various levels and locations
- Strong knowledge of recruiting systems, compliance requirements, and contingent workforce practices
- Demonstrated success in process improvement and workforce branding initiatives
- Exceptional customer service, interpersonal, and communication skills
- Innovative thinker with a collaborative mindset and high level of adaptability
- Experience with Paylocity or similar HRIS/ATS strongly preferred
- Equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
