About Horizon Health

Horizon Health is a new and growing Behavioral Health Agency (BHA) located in Shoreline, Washington. We are a licensed outpatient clinic offering both Intensive Outpatient (IOP) and Outpatient (OP) services for adults.

Position Summary

We are seeking an Advanced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) to join our clinical team. The PMHNP will conduct psychiatric evaluations, provide medication management, and offer individual counseling for adult patients across both our IOP and OP programs.

This role is ideal for a motivated and compassionate provider who wants to grow with a clinic that values autonomy, teamwork, and innovation in patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments
  • Provide ongoing medication management and follow-up care
  • Offer individual counseling and supportive therapy sessions
  • Develop and oversee personalized treatment plans for patients in both IOP and OP levels of care
  • Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications in accordance with DEA and Washington State regulations
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation in the EMR system
  • Collaborate with SUDP counselors, case managers, and administrative staff for coordinated care
  • Work with both court-mandated and voluntary outpatient clients
  • Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to program development and clinic growth

Qualifications

  • Active Washington State APRN license with Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) certification (required)
  • Active DEA license for prescribing controlled substances (required)
  • Minimum 1 year of psychiatric experience performing evaluations and medication management (preferred)
  • Experience working with IOP or OP behavioral health programs (preferred)
  • Familiarity with court-ordered and dual-diagnosis populations is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and clinical documentation skills
  • Independent, detail-oriented, and excited to grow within a developing clinic

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $130, $165,000.00 per year
