Outside Sales Representative at Core Central Texas

Core Supply in Central Texas is looking for an OUTSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE to join our team.

Established in 2010, Core Supply, LLC is a rapidly growing and respected market leader supplying Rebar Fabrication, Post Tension, Wood Products, and Concrete Accessories to satisfied customers in the Construction Industry

The Outside Sales Representative manages relationships with customers, cultivates new business, and provides innovative solutions to satisfy customers' construction supply needs.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Research and identify prospective customers for building material sales (Rebar, Lumber, Post Tension, Concrete Accessories)
  • Manage existing customer relationships
  • Engage sales strategies to highlight and promote new Core products to customers
  • Regularly engage with customers understand their construction supply needs
  • Manage daily sales activities: Leads, orders, and customer visits
  • Maintain awareness of industry trends impacting your market territory
  • Follow Core policies and procedures and coordinate effectively with other departments to ensure customer orders are satisfied accurately and timely
  • Maintain in-depth product and customer knowledge
  • Participate in weekly / monthly Sales meetings

Experience and Skill Requirements:

  • 3 years' experience in Construction industry preferred
  • 1-3 years sales experience preferred
  • Bilingual (English – Spanish) preferred
  • Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills required
  • Able to multitask in a demanding work environment with shifting priorities
  • Proficient level of computer skills; MS Word, Excel, Outlook
  • Decision making and problem resolution skills
  • Should be honest, ethical, dedicated, dependable, and approachable
  • Should be a team player and able to complete assigned tasks
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Must be detail-oriented

Education Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED/educational equivalent
  • Bachelor's degree preferred a plus
